Fiona from Wee Movers approached me in 2021 with her ambition to launch Wee Movers – children's creative dance and yoga classes – in Waltham Forest. Wee Movers has been a fantastic success, with sell-out weekly classes and holiday schools across the borough. Wee Movers now employs a team of teachers and is expanding to include classes in the Olympic park.

I was commissioned to create an identity and promotional material for Wee Movers. The hand generated wordmark communicates a sense of fun and movement that are integral to the brand. I also established a bright and friendly colour palette and a series of illustrated characters to communicate who Wee Movers are. I have designed a range of printed and digital communication material for promotion, events and in-class.

As a start-up, self-funded project, an awareness of how to deliver an impactful design cost effectively was important. A small family of assets was created, these could be interchanged across applications and were easy for the client to work with. I worked closely with the printer to establish an impactful colour palette that looked great on screen but also reproduced well in digital print.
